Hi, I’m Yoveena, founder and director of Idyllic Tour Vibes, and a proud woman entrepreneur building her own path in the Mauritian travel world.

The truth is, I always knew I’d become a business owner. But the dream didn’t always involve tourism.

In fact, my first love was fashion.

I studied fashion and textile design with every intention of launching my own brand, styling looks, and creating beautiful things. I even pursued courses and certifications to prepare for that creative future.

But life, as it often does, had a different idea.

One day, I crossed paths with someone who introduced me to the world of tourism. At first, it felt far from the fashion studio I had imagined. But slowly, I realised something powerful. Tourism, just like fashion, is about creating experiences.

It’s about understanding people, anticipating their needs, and bringing beauty into their lives whether through fabric or unforgettable adventures.

From Inspiration to Creation

Mauritius is full of wonder. Turquoise waters, wild landscapes, cultural richness. But many visitors only see the surface. I wanted to go deeper.

That’s how the idea for Idyllic Tour Vibes was born.

I didn’t just want to offer tours. I wanted to create something personal, aesthetic, and woman-led. A travel brand that brought beauty, care, and authenticity to every experience.

Starting the business wasn’t easy. I had to learn everything from the ground up. How to manage bookings, coordinate activities, build partnerships, handle clients, and market myself online.

But my background in fashion and design gave me an edge.

My creative roots still live in everything I do at Idyllic Tour Vibes:

• The polished, thoughtful touches on my website, social media, and itineraries

Even the name “Idyllic Tour Vibes” was chosen carefully to reflect a sense of calm, dreaminess, and unforgettable energy. I wanted it to feel modern, feminine, and uniquely Mauritian.

I built the brand digitally from day one, understanding the power of visual identity and client experience. Whether it’s a dolphin tour or a hiking trip, every tour is curated like a piece of art with detail, emotion, and intention.

Challenges? Plenty. But Worth It.

Being a young woman building a business from scratch isn’t always easy.

People don’t always take you seriously. You feel the pressure to prove yourself twice as hard, especially when you come from a creative field.

But I let my work speak louder than the doubts.

Every happy client, every successful trip, every glowing review reminded me that I was on the right path. One I had shaped for myself.
