The waters near Tamarin and Black River are among the few places in the world where both humpback whales (June to November) and sperm whales (all year round) can be spotted.

Your journey begins with a safety briefing from your professional skipper before heading out into the deeper sea. As you glide across the turquoise lagoon and beyond the reef, the scenery changes dramatically from calm lagoons to the vast blue ocean. With the help of your experienced crew, you will keep an eye out for the gentle giants of the sea as they surface to breathe, dive, and sometimes even breach.

Throughout the trip, your guide will share insights about whale behavior, migration patterns, and the importance of protecting marine life around Mauritius.
